Who Is Jenn Naso?
Jenn Naso is a Larchmont, New York, forensic scientist who joined The Amazing Race season 39 with her best friend Jody Rebhun, 44, a history teacher from Branford, Connecticut. The pair were introduced as one of 13 teams chasing the $1 million prize, beginning at Jack Poole Plaza in Vancouver, where every team received an Express Pass at the starting line in a first-ever twist for the series.
As a forensic scientist, Jenn works in a field built on evidence, patience and careful analysis. That mindset can be a genuine asset on The Amazing Race, where teams must read clues closely, notice small details and avoid rushing into a wrong choice. Paired with a history teacher, Jenn formed half of a thoughtful, experienced team that valued preparation over panic.
Their race, however, ended in Leg 3. After surviving the first two legs, Jenn and Jody were eliminated in 11th place, becoming the third team to leave the season. It was a short run, but it still gave the best friends a shared adventure on one of television’s most demanding competition shows.
Early Life & Background
Jenn Naso is from Larchmont, New York, while Jody Rebhun is from Branford, Connecticut. Their friendship, rather than a family or romantic relationship, was the heart of their team: two best friends who chose to take on the world together, trusting each other through long travel days and high-pressure tasks.
Before the race, Jenn was not a television personality. She built her career as a forensic scientist, a role that rewards precision, objectivity and the ability to stay composed when the evidence is unclear. Those qualities were part of the friends’ story on the show: experienced, steady and determined, rather than reckless or flashy.
Career/Journey
Jenn Naso works as a forensic scientist in Larchmont, New York, and her teammate Jody Rebhun works as a history teacher. Together, they entered The Amazing Race 39 as a best-friends team, and they began the season with the same advantage as every other team: an Express Pass handed out at the starting line in Vancouver.
The pair survived Leg 1 in Vancouver, where the race included a Roadblock at BC Place and a Pit Stop at VanDusen Botanical Garden, and they survived Leg 2 as well. In Leg 3, however, they finished last and were eliminated in 11th place, ending their season as the third team to leave the race.
The Amazing Race 39 premiered on CBS on September 30, 2026, hosted by Phil Keoghan, and episode seven, “The Amazing Nightmare,” aired on November 4, 2026. Although Jenn’s journey ended in Leg 3, being cast among only 13 teams remains a notable credit, and the friends’ early exit helped shape the season’s opening weeks as the field narrowed.
