Who Is Bella Ramsey?

Bella Ramsey is an English actor who began acting as a child and rose to fame as the fearless Lyanna Mormont in Game of Thrones. They later played the lead role of Ellie in The Last of Us, earning widespread critical acclaim and award nominations for a performance that balanced toughness with vulnerability. Early Life & Background

Ramsey grew up in Nottingham and began acting through local theatre and television work, landing Game of Thrones while still a child. The role of Lyanna Mormont, a young lord commanding respect from far older warriors, became an instant fan favourite and opened doors to bigger parts. Rather than being typecast, Ramsey built a varied career across fantasy, drama and comedy, choosing projects with strong writing and complex characters. That range made them an intriguing Traitors contestant: a performer used to inhabiting other people, now asked to be entirely themselves under suspicion.

The Celebrity Traitors 2026 Journey

Ramsey entered The Celebrity Traitors Series 2, which began on BBC One on October 1, 2026, as a Faithful. They joined the missions and round tables with enthusiasm, but their game ended in Episode 4 when the Traitors chose to murder them, removing a perceptive and popular Faithful. The early exit disappointed viewers who had expected Ramsey to go deep, but it followed the Traitors’ pattern of targeting strong, well-liked players. Their chosen charity was Bamboozle Theatre Company, which creates theatre for disabled children and young people.
