Quick Facts

Who Is Rob Stirzaker?

Rob Stirzaker is a 25-year-old from Bideford, Devon, who took part in Big Brother UK 2026, the twenty-third series of the British Big Brother, which aired on ITV2 from September 13 to November 5, 2026. He was one of fifteen housemates who entered the house on launch night. Like most civilian housemates, Stirzaker arrived with no prior television profile, and the public got to know him through the series itself, where he was a visible presence in the first five weeks before his eviction.

Stirzaker’s strongest storyline came in the pairs week, the House of Double Trouble, when he was paired with Twinks Burnett. The pair finished third in Peas in a Pod, joint second in Jedward’s Jepic Pairs, and scored nine points in the blindfolded cup-stamping game, finishing third overall with 13 points. He later became a team captain in the House of Power week, when the house was split into the Red Team and the Blue Team, and his leadership in that week, and his survival of a public vote in the fourth week, showed that he had built strong relationships in the house. His eviction in the fifth week, at the hands of a killer nomination from Yasmin, was one of the more dramatic moments of the series.

Early Life & Background

Rob Stirzaker is from Bideford, Devon, England, and was 25 years old when he entered the Big Brother house on September 13, 2026. No verified details of his date of birth, education, occupation or family life were published by ITV or in the series’ official coverage, so this profile does not state them. He applied through the open casting process, which had opened on November 14, 2025 and ran until August 1, 2026, and was selected as one of the fifteen original housemates for a series ITV described as reimagined as a house of surprises, with unexpected twists and game-changing moments around every corner.

The series was the fourth civilian series to air on ITV2 since ITV regained the rights to the format, and it ran for 54 days, the longest series on ITV and the longest since the eighteenth series on Channel 5 in 2017. Stirzaker spent 34 of those days in the house, and his time there included the Dreamland and Nightmare Room shopping task, the pairs week, the House of Nothing week, the BB Express train task and the House of Power, so he experienced a wide range of the series’ twists before leaving.

Rob Stirzaker’s Big Brother Journey

Stirzaker’s journey began on Day 2, when the housemates played Getting to Know You in teams. He was a member of the Green Team, alongside Catrin Richards, Frankie Carter, Harry Benton-Symonds, Johanne Cade, Philip Regan, Samuel Keen, Twinks Burnett and Yasmin, and the team went to the terrace while the Red Team, who won the game, was awarded cocktails in the snug. In the pairs week, the House of Double Trouble, he was paired with Twinks Burnett by Jedward. The pair finished third in Peas in a Pod with five points, joint second in Jedward’s Jepic Pairs with four matches, and scored nine points in the blindfolded cup-stamping game, finishing third overall with 13 points. In the Noah’s Ark shopping task, Rob and Twinks became zebras, whose role was to stand up and raise and lower their heads, and the housemates passed the shopping task overall and received a luxury budget.

On Day 23, the housemates nominated face to face, and Pauline Adeyemo and Rob Stirzaker received the most nominations and faced the public vote. On Day 27, October 10, 2026, Pauline became the fourth housemate to be evicted, and Stirzaker survived. In the House of Power week, the house was split into the Red Team and the Blue Team, and Stirzaker was the captain of the Red Team, with Frankie Carter, Omar El Mayer, Rhianna Collins, Twinks Burnett and Yasmin as his team. He chose Rhianna, Frankie and Yasmin to represent the Red Team in the final domino game, which the Red Team lost when Yasmin knocked over the Blue Team’s dominoes, and the Blue Team won the power of the killer nomination.

On Day 31, the housemates nominated, and Rob Stirzaker, Twinks Burnett and Yasmin faced the public vote. Yasmin, who had been given the power of the killer nomination, was able to choose one housemate as the killer nomination, and she chose Rob. On Day 34, October 17, 2026, Stirzaker became the fifth housemate to be evicted. He left the house a week before the House of Time twist, in which the remaining housemates entered the Time Zone and made nominations, and before the Time Machine shopping task, but his five weeks in the house, and his success in the pairs week and as a team captain, made him one of the memorable early housemates of the series. The series concluded on November 5, 2026, when Rochelle Rackham won and the 100,000 pound prize, with Twinks Burnett second and Yasmin third.
