Who Is Twinks Burnett?

Twinks Burnett is a 36-year-old fashion stylist and hype girl MC from East London who became a finalist on Big Brother UK 2026, series 23 on ITV2. Her full name is Lucinda Burnett, but she is known to viewers as Twinks, and she entered the Big Brother house on Day 20, one of two late arrivals alongside Catrin Richards, reaching the final six after just over two weeks inside. She finished second in the live final on November 5, 2026, as runner-up to Rochelle Rackham.

Twinks stood out from her first appearance for her confidence and her candour about her beliefs. She openly identifies as a witch, and that revelation divided viewers, with some praising her honesty and others questioning it. Before entering, she said the hardest part of joining three weeks in “will be earning people’s trust,” adding: “I think people might think I’m a mole or I have an agenda. They’ve done three weeks that I haven’t been privy to.”

Early Life & Background

Twinks Burnett comes from East London and works as a fashion stylist and hype girl MC, a host who fires up crowds at clubs and events. Her work in fashion and nightlife shaped the big, bold personality viewers met in the house: outspoken, expressive and unafraid to stand out. Little has been shared publicly about her life before the show beyond her job and her East London roots, but her openness about her beliefs became one of the defining stories of her time in the house.

A hype girl MC’s job is to bring energy to a room, and Twinks brought exactly that to the Big Brother house. Her fashion background also showed in her looks in the house, and her confidence in her own identity — including identifying as a witch — made her one of the most distinctive housemates of series 23.

Big Brother UK 2026 Journey

Twinks entered the Big Brother house on Day 20, three weeks into the series, as one of two new housemates alongside Catrin Richards. The pair arrived when the original fifteen housemates had already formed alliances and settled into routines, and Twinks was frank about the challenge ahead, saying the hardest part would be earning the trust of people who had already spent three weeks together.

Despite the late start, Twinks reached the final six. The series ran for 54 days, the longest ITV series of Big Brother yet, and was billed as a “house of surprises,” with weekly themes and returning Big Brother stars dropping in as house guests. Her openness about identifying as a witch divided viewers and kept her at the centre of conversation, and she survived the nominations and evictions that cut the house down from seventeen housemates to six finalists. She went into the final on November 5, 2026, alongside Catrin Richards, Lynx Noumey, Rochelle Rackham, Samuel Keen and Yasmin. In the final, she finished second, behind winner Rochelle Rackham.

The final six were decided after a double eviction on November 4, when Frankie Carter and Omar El Mayer were voted out on Day 52, leaving Twinks and the other five finalists to face the public vote in the live final. A reunion episode, Big Brother: The Reunion, follows on November 6, 2026.
