Who Is Ashley Trail?
Ashley Trail is a bartender from Chicago, Illinois, who became known to reality television viewers through Big Brother 28. She was 24 during the season, which aired in summer 2026 on CBS and was hosted by Julie Chen Moonves. Her work behind the bar is a people-facing job, built on conversation and reading a room.
On Big Brother 28, Trail lasted 10 days and was the first houseguest evicted from the 17-person cast. She left on Day 10, before the Day 17 eviction of Jack Seymour, the Day 24 eviction of Jason De Puy, the Day 31 eviction of Lyric Medeiros, the Day 38 eviction of Chuk Anyanwu, the Day 45 eviction of Kamuela Kirk, the Day 52 eviction of Mallory Aurichio, the Day 53 elimination of Haley Thogmartin, the Day 59 eviction of La Trice Verrett, the Day 66 eviction of Angela Murray, the Day 73 double eviction of Yash Patel and Barrett Pfeiffer, and the final run that saw Melody Morris finish fifth on Day 77, Dee Valladares evicted at the final four on Day 80, Drew Campbell finish third on Day 87, Taylor Brown finish as runner-up, and Rick Devens win the jury vote 6-1.
Early Life & Background
The published cast record for Ashley Trail gives her age, hometown and occupation, but does not publish a detailed account of her family life or schooling, so this profile does not invent those details. Chicago, Illinois, is the hometown listed for her in the season cast material. Her listed occupation, bartender, was the public identity she carried into the Big Brother house.
Bartending is social work: it rewards quick conversation, a good memory for regulars and the ability to stay calm under pressure. Those skills can help in a house where alliances form over long days and nights, though the first eviction of a season often turns on early impressions and house dynamics rather than a long record of play.
Big Brother 28 Journey
Big Brother 28, subtitled Time Trip, premiered on July 9, 2026, and concluded on October 1, 2026, after 87 days. The season featured the BB Time Capsule twist in Weeks 2 to 7, the return of BB Block Buster, and three nominees each week. Trail’s time in the house covered the opening stretch of the season, before the twists and rounds that shaped the middle and endgame.
Her eviction on Day 10 made her the first houseguest to leave the 17-person cast, and her departure set the pattern for the evictions that followed in the early weeks.
Career
Outside reality television, Ashley Trail works as a bartender. In general, that role involves preparing drinks, serving customers and keeping a bar running smoothly during busy shifts.
On television, Trail’s Big Brother career is defined by her 2026 season. Her 10-day run, ending in the Day 10 eviction as the season’s first departure, remains the defining public result of her reality television career to date.
