Quick Facts

Who Is Charlotte Nott?

Charlotte Nott is an 18-year-old from Cowley, Oxfordshire, who took part in Big Brother UK 2026, the twenty-third series of the British Big Brother, which aired on ITV2 from September 13 to November 5, 2026. She was one of fifteen housemates who entered the house on launch night, and the youngest contestant in a cast whose ages ranged from 18 to 57. Like most civilian housemates, Nott arrived with no prior television profile, and the public got to know her only in the first week of the series, before she left.

Nott’s time in the house was short but it included one of the early successes of the series. She was paired with Philip Regan in the pairs week, the House of Double Trouble, and the pair won the Peas in a Pod game, in which they dressed in pea pod costumes and landed peas on each other’s bodies, and finished at the top of the leaderboard after the early pairs games. They also took on the roles of Noah and his wife in the Noah’s Ark shopping task, in which they oversaw the house register while the other pairs took on animal roles and completed tasks around the house. It was a strong start for an 18-year-old in a house of much older contestants, and it made her one of the more visible housemates in the first week.

Early Life & Background

Charlotte Nott is from Cowley, Oxfordshire, England, and was 18 years old when she entered the Big Brother house on September 13, 2026. No verified details of her date of birth, education, occupation or family life were published by ITV or in the series’ official coverage, so this profile does not state them. She applied through the open casting process, which had opened on November 14, 2025 and ran until August 1, 2026, and was selected as one of the fifteen original housemates for a series ITV described as reimagined as a house of surprises, with unexpected twists and game-changing moments around every corner.

The series was the fourth civilian series to air on ITV2 since ITV regained the rights to the format, and it ran for 54 days, the longest series on ITV and the longest since the eighteenth series on Channel 5 in 2017. For an 18-year-old entering that environment, the challenge was considerable: she was living under constant surveillance with housemates up to 57 years old, competing in physical tasks, and navigating nominations in a house where the public were once again voting to evict. Her eight days in the house were the shortest stay of any housemate in the series who left by walking, and the second-shortest stay overall after Millie Jarrett, who was evicted on Day 7.

Charlotte Nott’s Big Brother Journey

Nott’s journey began on Day 1, when she entered the house during the live launch. On Day 3, she took part in the first shopping task, when the house was transformed into Dreamland and the Nightmare Room, and the housemates had to complete a series of tasks in order to win a luxury shopping budget. The housemates in Dreamland had to complete tasks while the housemates in the Nightmare Room barked like dogs, and the task was a mixture of creative challenges, matching games and physical tasks. In the pairs week, the House of Double Trouble, she was paired with Philip Regan, and the pair made a strong start, winning the Peas in a Pod game and finishing at the top of the leaderboard after the Jedward’s Jepic Pairs game. In the Noah’s Ark shopping task, Philip and Charlotte took on the roles of Noah and his wife, overseeing the house register while the other pairs took on animal roles.

On Day 7, September 20, 2026, Millie Jarrett became the first housemate to be evicted, after the mole, Tays, and his deputy, Philip Regan, had nominated Millie, Pauline Adeyemo and Rochelle Rackham for the first eviction. On Day 8, September 21, 2026, Nott walked from the house. She was the only housemate in series 23 to leave the house by walking, and she left before the pairs week had finished and before the first round of nominations on Day 10. Her departure meant that the pairs week continued with one fewer housemate, and that the house had lost its youngest contestant.

After leaving the house, Nott was interviewed as part of the series’ coverage, and she watched the rest of the series from outside the house. The series concluded on November 5, 2026, when Rochelle Rackham won and the 100,000 pound prize, with Twinks Burnett second and Yasmin third. Nott’s story is a short one, but it is a significant one: she was the youngest housemate in the series, she won the first pairs game with Philip Regan, and she was the only housemate to walk from the house, leaving on Day 8 after just eight days inside.
